| | Troop 1091 is a Boy Scout Troop in the Cahokia Mounds District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council. The troop is sponsored by the VFW Post 976 in Troy, IL.
We strive to be youth led although some adult guidance is needed. Our goal is to provide a safe environment for all boys to reach their full potential through the wonderful word of scouting. This goal is accomplished through the values of scouting along with empowering each boy to have a hand in their own destiny as scouts. This empowerment helps young boys develop independence, confidence and self-reliance.
