Prepared. Since 1956.

For over 60 years Troop 4006 has been Bellingham’s go-to adventure troop. Whether its biking on Washington’s John Wayne Pioneer Trail, braving the rapids on the Skycomish river, or exploring the stars at Vancouver’s Space Center, Troop 6 Scouts are developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge crucial to meeting the challenges of today’s society and ensuring that they will be prepared for the demands of tomorrow as well.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for boys in the Bellingham and surrounding areas to experience and enjoy the adventures of the Scouting program.  We strive to not only introduce boys to the basic skills of Scouting in such areas as camping, cooking, canoeing, hiking, orienteering, and pioneering but also work to instill in them character, leadership, and responsibility.  Opportunities experienced and the principles learned in Scouting will shape boys into young men who are equipped to be better leaders of tomorrow.

We are located in Bellingham, WA and meet weekly at Bellingham Covenant Church on E Bakerview Road.  Our meetings are held on Tuesday nights throughout the year from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Membership in our troop is open to all boys ages 11 to 18 (sixth through twelfth grade).  For more information regarding the Scouting program, how to join, or advancement opportunities along the journey to Eagle, please reference one of the links below.  Please contact our troop leadership directly.  We will be glad to assist you in learning more about Troop 6 and the Boy Scouts of America.
