About Cub Scouting

Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (6-10 years of age). Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the Boy Scout of America's three membership divisions  (the others are Boy Scouting and Venturing).

Monthly Pack Meetings:

Our Pack meetings monthly consist of:

  • September – Round Up                                       
  • October-Halloween Party
  • November-Award Ceremony                            
  • December-Christmas Party
  • January-Pinewood Derby
  • February-Blue/Gold Banquet and Award Ceremony
  • March- open for committee, leaders and parents to suggest
  • April-open for committee, leaders and parents to suggest
  • May/June-Graduation Ceremony

ALL parents from each den are responsible to help plan and carry out one meeting per year. Typical rotation is as follows:

Halloween Party: Wolf Den

Christmas Party: Bear Den

Pinewood Derby: Webelos 1 Den

Blue Gold Banquet: Webelos 2 Den

Graduation: Tiger Dens

ALL parents are welcome to help at any of the events even if your den is not the one planning the activity and if you have an idea for an outing, conservation project, service project please bring it to committee.

 

Volunteer Committees:

Throughout the year we have Parent and Leaders meetings. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend and participate. If you have questions, ideas or concerns please feel free to attend and share them with us.

Everyone will be asked to participate. If you have a particular talent, skill or  something special you would like to do with the pack, please let us know.

Joining:

A Cub Scout Application form must be completed in order to join Pack 350. Boys who are eligible to join Cub Scouts are:

6 years old and in the first grade-TIGERS

7 years old and in the second grade-WOLVES

8 years old and in the third grade-BEARS

9 years old and in the fourth grade-WEBELOS 1

10 years old and in the fifth grade-WEBELOS 2
