Cub Scouts is a year-round family oriented program designed for boys who are in Kindergarten* through fifth grade. Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities help to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen as part of the pack program while others happen within the family home. The most important events are often the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.
